Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for student education and welfare are:

· Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
· I collect and use personal information such as a parent’s name and email address in order to respond to enquiries about A-Level maths support and to arrange a free introductory or diagnostic session.
This processing is necessary to provide information requested by parents, to communicate about their child’s educational needs, and to determine whether my services are appropriate for the student. The benefit of collecting this information is that parents can receive clear, relevant guidance about A-Level maths exam preparation and make informed decisions about support for their child’s education and wellbeing.
Only the minimum information required is collected, and it is used solely for communication related to the enquiry. Personal data is not shared with third parties or used for unrelated purposes. I believe this use of personal information is reasonable, expected by the individual at the point of enquiry, and has minimal impact on privacy. The educational and welfare benefits to students and parents outweigh any limited risk involved, and individuals remain free to opt out of further contact at any time.
